Putting together last year’s "Memory
Lane" book was such a fun project. Taking a quick
look back gave me the opportunity to smile at so many
things from our childhoods. Even MORE rewarding was the
outpouring of interest from so many people, fondly reminiscing
about the institutions and "hang-outs" in
the book, but also, so many things that had touched our
lives and etched a certain image or event in our minds
and hearts. I received hundreds of letters, calls, and
emails from Richmonders sharing their stories and memories.
It became obvious that there would be an opportunity
for me to capture additional fond "look backs" from
so many of your suggestions…Thus, the birth of
"Memory Lane Volume Two." Join me
as we stroll down Memory Lane again, smiling and remembering!
